UKG is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer with high volume on UI Web and Mobile application development experience to join our team. This role should have experience with various object-oriented programming languages and be able to work with front end technologies as well as implement server-side logic that is responsive on both web and mobile applications. Has an excellent understanding of programming and testing concepts, design patterns, follow best practices to translate that understanding directly to implementations Has a deep knowledge and stays on forefront of all development languages and frameworks utilized by our applications both on Desktop and Mobile using Java, React, JavaScript, SQL, iOS/Android Cordova App and Custom Plugin's Able to work autonomously on complex issues where analysis of use cases, situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of various factors and involves investigating issues and code execution, potentially, across all levels of the application stack, from database to browser, including external libraries and plugin's to support mobile platforms. Demonstrates a well-defined knowledge of design patterns and common algorithms and exercises them in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions Quickly and efficiently find robust and effective solutions to difficult development problems Perform insightful and constructive code reviews to help maintain and teach proper coding techniques and ensure that your fellow developers are considering all pertinent factors to prevent regression defects or the introduction of problematic code Communicates effectively with other departments to effectively gather information required to perform duties Can quickly resolve very difficult issues through analysis of the application code, 3rd party libraries, customer use cases, and discussion with stakeholders Suggest methods and technologies to improve our applications and development practices Write Unit Tests and API Integration Tests for new custom features in the product Basic Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience. 5+ years of hands-on development experience with full stack java web and mobile based development: Java, React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, application servers, iOS & Android Cordova App development. Design and development of Applications which leverage Authentication protocols including SAML, OAUTH 2.0 and various data encryption technologies. Ability to write responsive code and automate tests that works both web and mobile applications. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to resolve complex issues through analysis of the application code, 3rd party libraries, custom plugin's, customer use cases, and discussion with stakeholders. Familiar with Agile development methodologies. Test-driven development experience. Good communication skills. Track record of delivering high quality software on time. USA Pay Transparency The pay range for this position is $109,000 to $156,700 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
